definitely 3.X But you should also consider the fact that some of the best libraries are written only for Python 2.X

No one can answer your question.. Also you must know that python 2.x is still developed and updated, but soon or later they will just stop develliping it, which has happend to python 1.x My advice is to stick to python 3.x, it is the most used version by the python community nowadays

None of them is better. But future developments trend to python3. I believe python2 will fade out in 5 years (maybe 7 or 10)
