After creating a website how does it go online

You would want to host it from a web server (locally/remote), and although it's not required, having a domain name is useful as well.

GoDaddy - they offer hosting, but it's expensive imo. However, they usually have deals on domain names for only $0.99 for an entire year, which is an amazing deal. For hosting, I have a server right now through VPSServers.com, but it's a VPS server and I just manually install Apache/everything I need. If you're familiar with Linux, I think that's a better choice overall, and you can do much more than just host a website. https://www.hosting24.com/ ^I've used them in the past and they were good to me. I think you can get started for only like $3/mn or something like that. Best of luck to you.

000webhost is free and you can use dot.tk for a free domain too
