What a difference between eclipse and netBeans? I see so many guys answer eclipse to create program/application why?

I install netBeans IDE then I watch how to start projeact on youtube
He use eclipse and then I dont see anything difference much between netBeans and eclipse

What is better must everyone decide for himself. Both are good to develop applications. Eclipse have a bigger community and is better developed than Netbeans.

Net beans is as good as eclipse. It's official java IDE. IntelliJ is even the best because it has intellisense plugin which helps to make coding even better. That's what is used in Android studio. If you are cool with Net beans, use net beans. You shouldn't use another IDE because almost everyone uses it. You should use another IDE if you want to explore other options. I use Net beans and IntelliJ though

As my experience, both Eclipse and NetBean are all programming ide (integrated development environment). Moreover, Eclipse is getting more popular due to its big community developer. All in all, Eclipse is newer and better.
