Do the hints make sense?

I'm just starting on python, obviously. But I don't understand these hints. ie. use 5xp of your 57xp to get a hint. please help

To be honest, I've never really used any. I realised that SL questions are basically memory tests and some logic. Try going back to re-read the previous lesson/module and try tackling the question again with more attention and focus to try to notice anything that might provide the answer you're looking for. You can also check the comments for the answer (do this If looking for the answer will provide an explanation as to how they got to it). If you still don't understand, ask your question here on Q&A and someone will answer you. SL has a wonderful community.
