Do I need to learn other languages before learning Python?

Python is a excellent language.no need to learn any basic language before it.
but in future u may face some difficulties while learning or shifting to other languages.
Python is not syntax Oriented so..while shifting to languages like c++ and HTML can tense u a bit.

you should be able to start right in on python with no coding experience. Ruby is a better one to start with because it's easier. pearl is just as easy as Ruby, but Pearl isn't offered here obviously. I did read the other day that python is ahead of Ruby on rails, when it comes to getting a job, just food for thought

python is easy to learn , you can start writing apps in python in no time .
