With what language should I start ? I'm a beginner

I'm in an engineer school and I want to get better at programming. classes were too hard for me and I'm dissappointed with the little I could learn from it.

Tttc, You need to look at what you'll be using. What did you learn in Engineering School? That is the Language you'll start with, you need to catch up on what you've missed. It will help you a lot, even tho you might hate it, you'll learn to love it. Do it on your own pace, don't let anyone tell you what to do, you just do it! If you've thought that your teacher is the best source of information, you should try Google! It has thousands of courses on every programming language out there and you'll learn a lot too.

thanks alot for your replies !! thats actually really motivating ! I worked on python, SQL, C+ and matlab. So I guess I'll start again from there... I want to work in organizational engineering and I have come to realize that having basics skills in programming could be a real asset. thanks again!
