for that u need to know the logic behind phone numbers i mean which part of number represents what, store them in some file and then u can easily check by using some searching algorithm.

yes. suppose we have a number 917554578....
the first 2 or 3 numbers represent country & next 2-3 might represent state & then next 2 represent district & then other numbers represent individual number. now you may have seen it that we at times guess from where someone is calling by finding numbers this way.
now you can automate this task by storing what numbers represent which country & check condition for first numbers & so on.
