Their way of teaching is introducing abstract words with no practical activity.. I mean real world stuff, not just some words.

I think the community here is where the app shines. Complete peoples challenges and answer their questions if you want more practical work.

I agree with a little you said. They should assign programs as part of their teaching concepts, but computers can't prove you wrote it correctly so they left it out. However, you should take advantage of every "try it yourself" changing stuff so you learn what works, what effect your modifications have, and really learn the language. Program everything as you learn it to reinforce the concepts in your brain. Of course, this community provides ease of use to getting answers to problems or questions that I haven't seen elsewhere.
