what do you love in java 8?

Because I am just beginning with Java and have very little experience I know one definite thing that I love in Java8 which is JavaFX with its FXML and SceneBuilder. I know it was in Java7 as add-on, but it is now the part of Java. Second thing are lambda expressions, but I haven't work with them yet, so I'll see if I'll love them :-)

if possible please go through the prime number program in my code section. That java program illustrates the application of lambda expression in an efficient way.. thanks @Mike Levis
