The term "Hacker" in its original context is someone who (1) builds new things, (2) improves the existing things, (3) modifies things to let them work in other ways than the normal use and (4) break things to learn to do the three things above. Hacking is not limited to software hacking, anyone in any field who practice above four and have below five attitudes, she or he is a hacker. According to http://www.catb.org/esr/faqs/hacker-howto.html, by Eric Steven Raymond, The Hacker Attitude 1. The world is full of fascinating problems waiting to be solved. 2. No problem should ever have to be solved twice. 3. Boredom and drudgery are evil. 4. Freedom is good. 5. Attitude is no substitute for competence. Obviously, hacking is full of creativity, nothing than the problem solving and a culture of sharing. Hackers or Makers or Innovators or whatever or whoever, the most important thing is to solve problems of the world and find the meaning of life. And remember that working together to benefit the world is the most rewarding thing in life. Please note that many things are misundertood because of bias. The ignorance usually gives birth to bias. The root cause may be media or anything else. I don't care about them. We must take the responsibilty to learn the truth.
