Kotlin has arrived, is it a goodbye to JAVA ?, or just a hello world! to KOTLIN?
Now that google has decided to bet on KOTLIN, will it be the beginning the end of JAVA?

Java isn't going anywhere for now, so no worries there. However, Java being part of everything isn't much of an issue either because of how Kotlin is interoperable with Java, so you can mix their code together if you wanted and it'll still work.
As well, Kotlin is NOT limited to just Android. You can use Kotlin for everything that you used Java for because Kotlin is working through the JVM.

Nope.
Kotlin only sees major development in app making.
But Java is more than that - it is part of yhe systwm that runs computers, phones, etc
