Which programming language is best for becoming ethical hacker?

Python: huge amount of libraries good for breaking into systems. Java: not really the first language people come up with when "hacking". I list it because you can actually create some good android malwares with it. c++/c : this is the programming lingual franca of any operating system. good if you need any heavy lifting or performance oomph that Java and Python can't handle. javascript and any other languages commonly used on the web. good if you wish to attack websites using SQL injections or whatnots.

oh, remember, sometimes the most effective language for "hacking" is not programming language at all. if you can somehow trick someone over the telephone or via email to give you the admin password, you instantly "hacked" a system without writing any codes.

It depends on hardware or software. Its pretty good when you know all lang at least the main part of it. You must know many os (based on UNIX) and the intern asms//lang//(...). So now to the langs: I recommend Java, c and c++ but anyway you must know many things :) Good Luck
