Kotlin is a language running on JVM developed by jetbrains (creator of android studio). Kotlin is used to create android apps. Android studio 3.0 supports kotlin. Gradually all the android app developers will shift to kotlin from java.

I would prefer java bcoz for us java is more convenient than kotlin ( let see what happens in future)
