This list may not be supported on all editors or IDE, but it's really common (for PCs/Laptops): Ctrl + C - Copy, Ctrl + V - Paste, Ctrl + X - Cut, Ctrl + A - Select all text, Ctrl + Home - Go to beginning of file, Ctrl + End - Go to end of file, Ctrl + Z - Undo, Ctrl + Y - Redo Ctrl + N - New, Ctrl + S - Save, Ctrl + O - Open Ctrl + P - Send the file to default printer Ctrl + Tab - Navigate through the files tabs And many more I may forget or am not aware of :)

Ctrl + another key does many things for you. My favorite is Ctrl + Z. 😉 Also, you might want to try Alt+F4, preferably after you have written a long piece of code that has gone through many hours of debugging, but also before you save your work. 😀😀 (FYI, did you know that before Windows 8 the entire computer was controllable via only the keyboard?)
