Don't waste time on documentation

Question

You may think that you need to read the whole documentation for software but don't. You will waste a lot of valuable time. Instead learn from it what you need at that point. You will remember more as time goes by and you use it regularly.

sorry, but this is EXTREMELY bad advice

imagine having an enterprise scale program, thousands of lines of code. You WILL not remember stuff the next time you go back to it

also, others when working in a team, how on earth would they know what the heck your method/function does?

so many reasons this is terrible advice
