what is residence memory of RAM ?

explaining in a simple way. It is when your ram does not have more storage capacity then the O.S simulates in the hard disk a RAM. In fact it does a mapping between ram addresses and the hard disk drive.

it is used for programs to write and read data. This data is temporarily stored there. When the computer is turned off everything is lost. So we have to save on a hard disk drive. Each space in the memory has a address that is used to locate the read or write position. Usually these addresses are in hexadecimal format. Something like this: 0x00efff.

When any program is executed it is stored in the residence memory. For turbo c 3.0, it has 1MB residence memory i.e. when we open turbo c 3.0 it stores 1MB in the RAM !!!
