Help suggest personal projects

Hi everyone,

I'm putting together a long-term list of personal projects for me to do over the next few terms here in University. I need help with suggestions as to what I should create. Suggestions can be any skill level, all welcome! I'll simply add it to my checklist. For example, algorithms to find a word, game's like pong, create a binary tree structure, etc. Anything! :)

My programming ability is fairly advanced at this stage in University. My primary languages are Java & Python, but I'm also able to use C or SQL if needed. Sadly, while I could go learn web-based languages, I do not have the time currently. sorry!
