Learning Java in 2018 is worthit or not?

At the present stage when there are many technologies available will Java survive in upcoming year's? what do you think?

Of course! Desktop applications, Android applications... front-end and even back-end web development with the Spring framework etc. is possible. Sure there are new technologies coming up and they will be relevant but Java keeps being developed and becoming better as well.
