How far will Python get me?

Question

I'm learning Python and starting to get the basics of other languages, but I want to become a Programmer/Games Dev... How far will Python get me because I find languages like C++ and Java complicated as I am used to the Python syntax. Any Suggestions?

Well Python is very useful for data analysis, AI and it has many general uses. But I think languages that are powerful on game development (C++, C#, Java for Android) and such things will help you much more as you're interested in this.
