[fixed] How to make table look like square?

Question

Check this code , I want make 8*8 table but it looks like rectangle .
vertical and horizontal space between cells is not same so table looks rectangular.

if u want 2*2
u can declare 2 tr and 4 td
if u want 3*3
3tr and 9 td
if u want 5*5
then 4tr and 16td
here 2*2 means having 2 rows no of boxes will be 4
it means we have 2 riws and 2 colums
this tags is used in html

add some spaces between columns to compensate the new line between rows

@gnanesgwari I know that,I have created 8*8 table but due to more vertical space between cells , table doesn't look like a square board, its height is slightly more and looks rectangular
