What are the benefits of code learning if my studies are basically scientific? How would this help me on my professional career?

Well Code is used in a lot of different applications, which are quite helpful for studying. I dont know if you know MATLAB or GeoGebra or WolframAlpha. These programs are helpful for analyse functions in analysis.

It depends on what you are studying. For example engineering students should be able to code.

i would recommend c++, its quite powerful and it is easy to code simple programms aswell.
