If by world destruction you mean whole planet goes kaboom, I am against it. But I am for full scale human genocide by some sort AI, cylon or bioroids.

My Solution:
We connect every single computer on the planet into a Bot Network, and make them think of the Best Way to destroy Earth.

We let them do that, while we escape. :)
But... while we're leaving, their either going to shoot us back down, or the computer in our rocket doesn't respond and we crash.

Wow... that took a dark turn.
Anyway, that was my idea.

If you meant Saving The World and not Destroying The World however, we get the network to... do the Same Thing.
