Write and Read external file

Question

Hello all,
Can someone enlighten me, please.
I want to create a program that writes and reads from a file.
The output should be somewhat like '(string)Object (int)amount'.
First of all: Can this be done within the 'SoloLearn' environment?
Second: is this a challenging level of programming (in C++ for me atm) or quite simply learned?
