What is coding, and what is the point of it?

Coding is writing lines of “code” which is a mixture of letters, numbers, and other keys, mashed together to create what’s called “syntax”. A programmer or coder writes code to create virtually anything. Without coding, websites, video games, email servers, would never have existed.
