Wordpress: Adding filled Rectangles to the sides of a page.

I dont have a business or premium subscription. so i cant use css. however instill wish to add rectangles of my theme color to the sides of my page because theres so much white space. How do i add rectangles to the sides in wordpress? (This will surround my text and body of my page)
