Whats your opinion of JavaFX compared to Swing?

Question

I've heard developers talk about how Javafx is better than swing but fx itself has the swing packages. so what's your opinion on these two. Would you prefer using only Swing or the complete JavaFx library for building desktop app. And is there any better java Library for building desktop apps compared to JavaFx and Swing?
