Best Language for Game Development??!

Hey guys, Dave here.
I've learned Java pretty well, and know this is my question: what's the best language for game development? Difficulty or complexity don't matter, I want to start develop games like a real coder 😂😂
P.S. Please don't answer like "you can use Unity" cause I know it. I just want to make games from scratch!

How about you study how to write a game engine, instead of trying to build a game from scratch.

Thank you both a lot!! @maxcookmax yeah I've started with JPanel, JFrame and the incredible paint 😂😂 really interested in c++, going to check it out certainly!!! @Jonathan Carver yeah really good idea, probably my next project!!!
