wow this thread just reminded me of the internetwork of old aunties and grandmas in my town.

they were more like multiple LANs , with atleast one node also a member of another LAN

aunties and grandmas made better network coz they tend to follow, mesh topology, and also a mixture of ring and bus topology.

whereas uncles and grandpa's couldn't make a large network coz they tend to follow only star topology,

just my opinion it could vary,
