I want to be a programmer! What should i do?

Next year I will complete my matriculation. I need tips that what should I do after matric or what is best way to be a programmer?. I have intrest in coding and I think it will be ok for me. So, need your valuable tips.

I completed some courses there like html/CSS, php, one line command etc
