How to build darktable from source in linux mint?

Question

i m trying 2build darktable from source in mint general instructions are here

https://redmine.darktable.org/projects/darktable/wiki/Building_darktable_20 i installed required dependencies and then build it using general instructions but after doing that executable generated failed to open note that i have just installed minimal dependencies and i havent generated pkg-file plz let me how 2 generate

pkg-file do i need to write some script if yes then how to execute them. and will that help in running main executable.
