What type of app you trying to make and on what platform? There are plenty of options for it, but I'd pick it based upon the platform. We talking desktop app? android app? ios app? etc..

Java, C#, C++, Kotlin, etc.... are some common options. However, I base my choices upon what the project consists of and what will make it overall most efficient & easier to deal with.

Ok so have an app in development, I am using the application Xcode on my Mac, that uses objective-c or Swift. It is a really useful way to develop your app or game!!!
