HOW TO CONNECT TO SQL DATABASE USING PHP?!?!!!

I have xampp and hosted a php and sql server. I want to connect to sql server but I never knew there was a password or anything. But I don’t have a password or username. What do I do since I never set one up on xampp

there are many connection codes available in google...just u need to provide the user name...host name and password.....u can get ur host name and username in phpmyadmin...click on user...u will get the info...in case of no password put null string
