Which language is better for gaming python or c#

In as much as it is for game development, there are various programming languages that can serve the purpose but choosing which to learn first is what I cannot give any advice on you as long as you are getting along with any of the programming languages since they are different and require different setup and coding styles. You will be fine in games development.

By far C#. Stellar Fox is right. C# and Unity is a great way to go. Python generally can create games using pygame, but not very good games even with it.
