What is class? What is user input?

Question

in "a hello world program" module they said they would explain more about class in upcoming modules. Meanwhile in module 13 information escalated quickly. It started to talk about classes, user input... I don't know if I missed something, or if I'm thinking too much. Help!

user input = values that the user input into your program.

Like when you say "input your name:" and then the user input a string with her/his name.

Classes are aborder in deph at Module 4, just thing about them a collection of variables and function for now.
