Hey guys I'm new coding and partly new to unity and need some help with coding character and bits

iv been learning java on here and through mini projects but it's only ever been using and playing with other people's codes where do I start on making my own and what areas will I need to work on coding wise thanks in advance

Your best hope for learning unity is to continue playing with the engine and getting familiar with it. It is also good to watch the videos on their website to see what you have to work with and how you can write the scripts. The link is here: https://unity3d.com/learn/tutorials

thanks yer iv been working on those and some youtube mini projects too, if that's the best way to learn then I'll keep on with those and this thanks again
