Mordechai S. i was overwhelmed at first when started my degree.
i probably had a different field of interest every half a semester.
and with so many different fields that exists the choice seems impossible.
you are going to do various projects in your studies, some might interest you more, others much less (probably).
all i can and would suggest is if something interest you, then find the time to explore it more thoroughly.
also don't be afraid to explore things outside the scope of your studies.
the field we are in is a very vast one, with potentially infinite applications.
the technologies we are working with today might become obsolete in few years, months or just in a matter of days.
but our curiosity and ability to learn new ones are our most important assets.
bottom line is that you are just getting started.
sparks of interest will come and go so just give it some time and be patient :)
hope this helps

For a real engineer, there is no substantial difference which framework to choose, because it just takes some time to get used to the new one. In our company, we grow expertise in mostly ReactJS and Angular 2/4/5, but Vue.js is also on board. Every framework has its own pros and cons, meaning that there should be just a right choice for every single case during the product development.
To know the Pros and Cons for each one just check this website, it shows each framework with its pros and cons, and i take the article above from it..

Good luck bro 💚😎

try the searchbar
this has been brought up a few times before :]
and on a personal note, i mainly work with ReactJS on the frontend so i cannot give a personal comparison between the two of them.
i can only say that React is awesome >:D

Burey I'm new to programming, I'm finishing my first semester (Spring) at the University, studying for a BSC in CS. I have no idea what I like to do, which career to pursue... Like there are many big study/work fields, as Data Science, Robotics, Web development, software development, etc... I'd like to get some direction...

What About Node.js ?

It depends mostly on what you want and how you want to do it. Both frameworks are okay. I know you've heard the corny saying "there is no better programming language " well same applies here. It all depends on your objectives and how you want to meet them.

Vue and laravel of PHP, very good combination

The idea behind ReactJS and VueJS is very similar, so if you learn one of them you will pick the other one easy. ReactJS is a little bit harder at the begining, but you will learn how thing works inside, because VueJS has many helper functions that hide some concepts :) Also there is React Native (framework to build cross platform native apps with React). That’s why i recommend you to start with React :)

Mordechai S. I was like you when I finished my first year at the university, maybe at this time you don’t know what you can do, maybe you don’t like some topic that you see at the university but someday yourself know what to do, so in my opinion just learn a bit of everything, try to understand all topics so in that way you will be capable of understand all topics and know how to do your work better maybe like a frontend developer or backend 😅
Pd: I’m learning English sorry

m not experiences with those but I see Vuejs got big name around the web on 2018

I would recommend you to learn both of them.
Imagine, these frameworks, languages, libraries and so on are just tools you have.
As many tools you have as many solutions you can offer, but anyway, it is my opinion about this question)))

Burey אתה עובד כמתכנת? Do you work as a software developer?

Mordechai S. Wow i like how you guide through answering the questions. Thanks

node.js is backend framework not frontend.I would suggest you to learn bootstrap first instead of these frontend frameworks.Since most of the frontend devs are getting crashed by big companies i would go with full stack and move to backend dev after frontend dev is learnt.Dont be specific, embrace all web

Carlos Cal well because the top industry is not embracing it like the others
