I could use some help here. Trying to set a footer in my Wordpress Website

ive been applying this code to my website www.freedomboilers.com. However, it is not applying it correctly. I am using the twenty-fourteen theme, and am applying it to the footer widget area.

what could be the problem? is there a way i can apply this code without having to use a widget area?

You can add this code to your page html or php file using a file manager plugin.

Is there any file manager plug ins you recommend? Any that you have used before and worked? I just realized I can't use FTP. So I'm a bit confused at this point.

I found the file manager plugin... is it risky to use? They have a 18 dollar one and a free one.

you should put the code in footer.php
