How much languages i have to learn to make an android application

Two main languages :-

1.) XML :- for designing the layout & UI

2.) JAVA :- for handling all the logical & back-end part.

If you know these two languages you can make an Android app easily.

If you don't want to learn Java or how to designuser interfaces in XML, then there are alternatives. One is to use the Corona SDK. Corona is a high level SDKbuilt on the LUA programming language. LUA is much simpler to learn than Java and the SDK takes away a lot of the pain in developing Android app.
