The better question is why the {'f',117,'c','k',0}; anyone would want to build a game in Blender unless they're a masochist? Blender is powerful, no denying, but the UI looks like the dude who wrote Revelations designed it or someone vomited it up. It's a 3D modeling software. If you want a Rapid Deployment option, use Unity instead. It's not my cup of tea, but it's got groupies all over the net. It's free (t's & c's apply), too.

I believe Pygame 2 Python sdl2, works well with blender
