the syntax is as simple as it can be (no curly brackets, no semicolons,...). This makes it easier to just code and not get stuck in searching for some useless character you have forgotten somewhere.

Plus, it starts very simple and can still be used for very advanced stuff (Statistics/Analytics, Machine Learning, AI,..)
