Can we say that we use comments in a program to make it user friendly?

yes, you could say that. whenether it's true or not depends on your implementation. most of the time though, comments are to make it easier for yourself. so that you know what everything does, after working on other code.

Well technically not really... Because the users are not able to see the back end which is where the comments are written within the code that is not transparent to the users through the browsers on their computer. Comments are generally for programmers reference.
