Robototechnics programming languages

Which programming languages are topical in robototechnics?

Well in robotic there's always some kind of microcontroller or plc. So the language depends on the platform. I would say c++ or java would be the most common ones. Maybe python but it's a little bit slower and not so good for real time applications.

i think the microcontrollers would be programmed in c/c++ and anything machine learning related would probably be done in python
