How Do You Style A Bootstrap Navigation Bar?

I’ve been reading the lesson on bootstrap navigation bars, but there is no mention of how to change the style of one.
So how does one go about such a thing?

(I can’t open or view websites due to parental restrictions, so links will do me no good. Thanks 🙂)

Hi Beth,

If you are learning exclusively through SoloLearn, you will continue to run into issues. An integral part of becoming an adept programmer is being able to look up information available on the Internet (from how to do things in general to troubleshooting obscure bugs or even finding cool features out there and using a web browser to view the source to see how it was done).

Bootstrap, at its core, is just a premade stylesheet. Later versions have some JavaScript. The best way to understand how Bootstrap works is to be able to "look under the hood" so to speak. To do that, you would go to the url for the stylesheet. For now, I think your parents should specifically allow access to www.w3schools.com. It is a good beginner resource. Then you could read through this:

But yeah, let's definitely work on solving the long-term issue here. If your parents want you to learn how to make websites, it would only make sense to have access to the WWW.
