T to CompletableFuture<T> with a consumer

Question

So i have a method that receives a Consumer<T> (in this case T = List<String>) and i want to implement a method that obtains the T from the first method and returns it as a CompletableFuture<T>. Not sure if my implementatiom is the best! Any1 have any ideia?
