What language would you choose and why ?

If you were to focus all your energy into learning one programming language 100% and to try to become the best at it. What programming language would you choose and why ?

While I'm not putting 100% in to it, I am putting 80-90% into Kotlin. I love the way the language is designed and it's power. I will be using it to make Android apps soon. But, I want to finish the remaining two languages available in SoloLearn prior to learning Android Development. Meanwhile, I'm continuing to experiment with different features and coding as much as possible having 130 of my 253 public & 219 private programs in it so far.

When I think of putting 100%.. I would prefer JavaScript I love the language a lot.. Also the language is used with HTML makes it more awesome for me...

I haven't gone through Python yet but I have heard that it's somewhat better than JS...

I've wondered the same thing. Here's what I think right now as a beginner.

As long as we agree that we can learn other languages later, I would pick between Kotlin, for android development or C because it seems to contain so many core concepts that all higher level languages use.

I am a beginner and I am putting 110% into HTML and love the language because it's not that complicated.

Suggest to everyone with C++ yes its hard and boring and dif to study, but its mother of all other langs and programming structures. so instead of many efforts you do one BIG effort with passion on C++ then you welcome to Technical World
