What is getting user input topic?

I couldn't understand the getting user input topic in java script... I've searched a lot but I couldn't get a desired answer... plzz help me so that I can get moved up to next level... I'm stuck man.

Is it java or Javascript!? You added tags 'java' which is a completely different language.

Anyway -
You can use prompt in javascript for inputs although its not used very often.
