Kali Linux is basically a linux derived desktop operating system designed for security and penetration testing. It's preinstalled with forensics apps. You can install kali in your system too, go to kali.org and then download .iso file, and if you're on Windows, create .iso image on pendrive with yumi application. and then change boot preference (as make pendrive at first) and then restart.
and then You can live boot or install kali. :)
