Backend domain

i am interested in backend than in frontend....so what current languages are used in that field....and also trending technology based on backend

PHP has been trending for a while and WordPress uses it. But nowadays node.js has huge demand.
SQL is also backend language.
Java and JavaScript is used for both frontend and backend.
