What's the question? If you plan to learn it as your first language, then not, it's probably not the best language to start. I can rather recommend python or, even better, java, that is much more similar to C++. :)

I would recommend even C++ as start. It's a typical (relatively) easy to learn, hard to master situation. I learned C++ solely fron the internet (without any C or Python or even Java background) and yes, it wasn't easy, but it's far from impossible.
