You need to be sure that's your image address isn't temporary, or access restricted, else you will fail to display it: what call you "google image"? I remember that in the past, you couldn't use google drive to serve images at web pages for example... And it seems to me that google search images result sometimes tend to be temporary link, so not usefull directly, until you retrieve the original address of the picture ^^
